Choose What To Keep

So, my real feelings are:

  • Disappointment and fear.
My face says:
  • ๐Ÿ™‚

โ€œIf you want something to last forever, you treat it differently. You shield it and protect it. You never abuse it. You donโ€™t expose it to the elements. You donโ€™t make it common or ordinary. If it ever becomes tarnished, you lovingly polish it until it gleams like new. It becomes special because you have made it so, and it grows more beautiful and precious as time goes by.โ€

When you believe in something in such a big way that words aren’t enough, can you just feel it?

Can it go without saying?

How do you condition yourself to do that?

Isn’t communication the key, hasn’t it always been?

Sometimes you have to choose what to keep and what to leave.

People I Have Met, and How They Have Proceeded To Disappoint Me

Now that the epilogue of my memoir is complete, I’m going to continue the re-re-re-vising process and attempt to pitch to agents. Experience is the mostย  poignant yet clear-cut teacher. I’ve been inspired for a new book… well,ย  I’m keeping notes to form the premise. How’s this? Hahahahahahah!

Have a happy Wednesday and thanks for the requests, the emails, and the lurking!
